Profile Verification
Two paths to choose from to earn your badge and meet with confidence.
Why verify your profile
Verification has a single purpose: to build a community of trust and fight fake profiles. A verified member displays a badge visible to everyone, benefits from better visibility in the directory, and gains access to the full range of features reserved for trusted profiles. Verification is optional: it is never required to create an account, but it is strongly recommended.
One method is enough
To earn your badge, you choose one of the two paths below, according to your preferences. Only one method is required: we will never ask you to complete both. Each one entitles you to 2 free tokens, credited once only.
Path 1 — Express verification (0,75 €)
A micro-payment of 0,75 € by card is enough to earn the “Verified” badge. The principle is simple: a bank card corresponds to a real, unique identity, which effectively screens out fraudulent accounts and bots. This amount is not a subscription: it is a one-off check. The sum of 0,75 € is deducted from your first Premium subscription, so verification ultimately costs you nothing if you subscribe. Payment is processed by our secure provider; no card data is retained by Libertizy.
Path 2 — Video call verification
Would rather not pay anything? Opt for a short video call with a member of our moderation team. From your account area, you propose three time slots; we send you a connection link for one of them. This path grants the “Verified · Maximum Trust” badge, the platform’s highest level of trust. The video call’s sole purpose is to confirm that you are a real, adult person; no recording of the call is kept.
The badge and its benefits
- A “Verified” badge displayed on your profile, a mark of credibility with the community.
- Better visibility and greater prominence in the members directory.
- Access to features reserved for trusted members (organising events under certain conditions, certain privileged interactions).
- 2 free tokens, credited once only, regardless of the path chosen.
Video call verification represents the highest level of trust. If you have already been verified through the 0,75 € payment, the video call remains an option for reaching this higher level, but it is in no way mandatory.
Profile verification and age verification: two distinct things
Profile verification, as described on this page, aims to build trust between members; it is optional. It must not be confused with age verification, which governs access to explicit content. In accordance with Act No. 2024-449 of 21 May 2024 (known as “SREN”) and the framework of the French Audiovisual and Digital Communication Regulatory Authority (ARCOM), access to pornographic content is reserved for adults and is subject to an age check carried out by an independent third party, in accordance with the double confidentiality principle. This mechanism is separate from profile verification and applies to accessing explicit content.
What verification guarantees (and does not guarantee)
Verification attests that a check was carried out at the time it was granted; it strengthens trust, without constituting an absolute guarantee of the accuracy of all the information on a profile. Each member remains responsible for exercising caution and complying with the Code of Conduct. In the event of serious doubt or a report, Libertizy may request additional verification, suspend the badge or, where applicable, restrict access to the account, without any refund of amounts already paid.
Protection of your data
Information provided as part of verification is processed confidentially, with strictly restricted access, for the sole purpose of verification, and retained for a minimal period before deletion. Detailed terms are set out in our Privacy Policy. No card data is stored by Libertizy: payments are handled by a secure payment provider.
